UPPER DUBLIN 12, NORRISTOWN 1 (5 INNINGS)

The Flying Cardinals needed just three innings to put 10 runs on the board, scoring three in both the first and second and adding four in the third. The Eagles scored one run in the third, but that would be the extent of their run production as the Cards rolled to the win in the abbreviated contest.  Tommy Reilly had a huge day for the Cardinals, finishing a perfect 4-for-4 with a triple, RBI and three runs scored. Conor McFadden also had a productive day, driving in three runs while going 2-for-4. Justin Horn was 1-for-3 with an RBI and three runs scored out of the leadoff spot. JT Breslin was 1-for-3 with an RBI. Cole
McFadden earned the win on the mound, allowing seven hits and one run in five innings while fanning 10 and walking four. Upper Dublin (8-1, 7-0 SOL) will host Cheltenham on Thursday, and Norristown (3-7, 2-6) will travel to Springfield on Thursday.

The Upper Dublin Cardinals jumped out to an early lead on Norristown and captured a 12-1 victory on Monday. Ten runs in the first three innings allowed the Upper Dublin Cardinals to put the game away early.   An RBI double by Cole Swiger and a two-run single by Conor McFadden in the first inning and a walk by Swiger and a two-run single by JT Breslin during the second inning helped the Upper Dublin / Cardinals put some runs on the board early. 16 4 22 Souderton 25The Upper Dublin / Cardinals were led by a flawless day at the dish by Tommy Reilly, who went 4-4 against Norristown’s pitching. He singled in the first, second, and third innings and tripled in the fourth inning.  McFadden recorded the win for the Upper Dublin / Cardinals. He allowed one run over five innings. McFadden struck out 10, walked four and gave up seven hits.

Prorello was charged with the loss. He allowed 10 runs in 2 1/3 innings, walked two and struck out two.

After posting one run in the fourth, the Upper Dublin / Cardinals again scored one in the fifth. In the fourth, the Upper Dublin / Cardinals scored on a sacrifice fly by Justin Horn, scoring Jason O’Gara.
