Abington (PA) outdone by Garrett Breslin and the Upper Dublin Cardinals JV, 4-1 Garrett Breslin went 3-3 at the plate as the Upper Dublin Cardinals JV took home a 4-1 victory over Abington in seven innings on Friday. He singled in the second, fourth, and sixth innings.
Abington couldn’t get anything going so long as Noam Cohen was on the hill. Cohen held Abington hitless over four innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one. PlayerA was charged with the loss. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed one run. The lead stayed with the Upper Dublin Cardinals JV after the third, when they scored one run on an RBI single by Albert John.
The fifth inning saw Abington score its only run on the day on a walk by PlayerH. The Upper Dublin Cardinals JV built upon their lead with two runs in the sixth. The inning looked promising, as Julian Gimble singled, scoring Breslin to kick things off. That was followed up by Chris Tochet‘s single, bringing home Reilly Brink.
