UD Freshman 14 Upper Merion 0

The Upper Dublin Cardinals jump on Upper Merion  early and coast to 14-0 win.  The Upper Dublin Cardinals jumped out to an early lead on Upper Merion and captured a 14-0 victory on Thursday at Upper Dublin High School. The game was decided quickly as the Cardinals exerted their will early with 13 runs in the first three innings. Upper Dublin got on base five out of eight changes in the first inning, giving them a lead by three. Bleznak racked up five RBIs on three hits for Upper Dublin.

Upper Merion couldn’t get anything going as long as Jared Lamberg was on the hill. Lamberg held Upper Merion hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out four. Justin was charged with the loss. He allowed 14 runs in four innings, walked six and struck out three.

With the Upper Dublin Cardinals marking their territory in this game, they hope to increase their win percentage on Monday, when they have an away game at Cheltenham.
